Let’s get Dirty!

After getting comfy in Vauxhall, Whitechapel, Kentish Town and the not so local Chicago, Dirty Burger has landed in Shoreditch.

Dirty Burger has made its Shoreditch home in the Tea Building on Bethnal Green Road. The menu is simple and no-nonsense with wait for it…burgers. There are the usual extra’s, crinkle fries and onion fries – but it is not over-done. For breakfast, you have bacon, egg and/or sausage burgers. There is even something for the sweet tooth with their “dirty doughnuts”, which I hope is not literal. It’s an in and out jobby, unless you want to get cosy on the few stools with the delivery man hovering, folk waiting to order and those eager to collect. Don’t worry about it being busy, this operation is slick. They know what they are doing service wise. The finished product is a juicy, tasty, burger – no more, no less. Prices are reasonable; my Cheese Burger was £6.

You could say the area has its fair share of Burger joints with Bukowski in Boxpark across the road and The Diner a brisk walk away on Curtain Rd to name a couple, but I think there is room for this one. We won’t even hold it against them that they are part of the mammoth monster that is Soho Group – it still has an air of independence about it. By Sammijo.
